When The Role The Output
August to December, 1999 Intranet application development The collaboration involved the development of an in-house application for this international property management group.

The work involved design and development of an ASP/SQL Intranet application providing a client management system. The application consisted of user service code written in Javascript and server-side code written in ASP script accessing SQL Server databases via ADO.

The role required client interfacing to solve problems in the Beta release of the application and its packaging and installation at the client's site.

The Beta release was rolled-out to a cross-section of some 800 intended users in the mid-September and our subsequent involvement was in the design and implementation of enhancements requested for the Live release. This involved specification and implementation of changes to the application's principal database, provision of client and server side code and the design and implementation of 'on-line' and batch mechanisms for data feeds to update personnel related tables in that database.

The Live release was successfully installed at the client site at the end of the November.
